Oosterhoff strengthens its position in Brabant through collaboration with Van de Laar consultancy firm
01 August 2022
The Eindhoven-based consultancy firm Van de Laar joins Oosterhoff as the eleventh company today. This will give both companies a better basis for further innovation in the built environment in Brabant and the surrounding area.
Van de Laar is an independent consultancy firm for building constructions that has been breaking new ground since 1956. Its thirty employees work in the heart of the Eindhoven metropolitan region, which is characterised by the high-tech manufacturing industry. ‘In this vibrant area, we see plenty of opportunities for exceptional and innovative projects,’ says Gerard Doos, who, together with Maaike van der Windt, forms the board of Oosterhoff.
That is why both are delighted with the collaboration. Maaike van der Windt adds: ‘Van de Laar has its own identity and a formidable reputation in Brabant. And it must stay that way. Within Oosterhoff, we are combining our strengths to bring about real innovation with progressive concepts and products. In this way, we also want to contribute to sustainable working and living environments in Brabant that touch, inspire and amaze. In addition, Van de Laar's affiliation offers the opportunity to further optimise the business processes and achieve more synergy benefits.’
Besides Van de Laar, ten other consultancy and engineering firms work together at Oosterhoff in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Leon Mevis, director at Van de Laar, is looking forward to getting to know all his colleagues and the services and products within Oosterhoff. ‘We think that our Brabant roots and years of experience are an excellent addition to Oosterhoff, which is an absolute top player in the architectural consultancy business. We see it as an opportunity for further growth and to work on integral and groundbreaking projects.’
Adviesbureau Van de Laar is an Eindhoven-based consultancy for building constructions. A team of enthusiastic consultants and modelers works on a wide variety of projects, including schools, health centres, museums, apartment complexes, high-rise buildings, business premises, renovations and repurposing.
